Re: Site Review: http://costofawebsite.net/

Marcus,

What I will also do - as I think it would help a lot of people, is take screenshot's of the way the website looks now AND how it looks in the future (when you say "hey, that looks great, Richard" ;)), that way people can see how I came to the right place.

Sincerely,

Richard

Re: Site Review: http://costofawebsite.net/

Marcus, Thank you for your feedback, I will address the issues and get back with you. Again, many thanks. As for the link from Siteground. The banner for siteground has an affiliate link via an onclick (JS) reference in the href tag. I will have Siteground take a look at it none the less, I had the ...

Re: Getting Ranked and Indexed In Google in 2017

Webdeville, I can tell you without equivocation that it getting your site indexed in Google is just as easy now, as it was in 2014, maybe easier. NOW, getting it ranked is a entirely different animal altogether. If you can post the videos you are referring to, I can tell you if you will rank or not ...

Re: Can you rely on just content for traffic and ranking?

Fable 666, This is a yes and no question. I have ranked and indexed a few pages without ever making a single backlink to them. Of course, these were in the most uncompetitive of all business niches and keywords. Here are a couple of rules of thumb. 1) If the niche and/or keyword is competitive, and/...

Re: Site Review: http://costofawebsite.net/

Marcus, I am planning on getting paid traffic from Facebook, Google, Bing. I have already scoped out the keywords I am going to use, do not wish to post here for obvious reasons. I just need to know if my site is strong enough, before I start sending traffic.

Re: Keyword In Domain Name?

This really depends. Google does have an EMD penalty built into it's search algorithm. See link here: https://www.shoutmeloud.com/exact-match-domain-penalty-added-to-google-algo.html EMD stands for E xact M atch D omain and it means, essentially, that your keyword appears in your domain name. Re: please review my site and my new short video

Here is my humble response to this post. #1 I am not Marcus. However, I have done websites for people ranging from $500 dollars to $10000 dollars (when Wordpress did not exist). I have about 20 years experience with HTML, CSS, Wordpress, PHP, etc. It just so happens I suck at sales which is why I am...
