How does PPC work with bids?

Postby fable666 » Sun Jan 24, 2016 7:48 am

PPC works on bids, lets say $0.22 per click but does your bid of $0.23 stay at that rate or does it increase automatically when
someone bids higher?

Many thanks

its an automatic bid based on the marketplace at the time and your maximum bid.

if there are not many advertisers and the suggested bid is $0.30 and you put in $0.50 maximum bid.

you will always get traffic at the lowest rate based on your quality score and the current value.

so - if the going rate is 41 cents then you will pay 41 cents... if a new bidder comes in at 45 then you will be above that... but never above 50.

if it goes way low you will pay less.
