Google analytics says I have 404 errors?

Google analytics says I have 404 errors?

Hi guys,

Google Analytics tells me I have 5 404 errors for X pages? I checked those pages but they do not exist???? Can someone tell me what is happening?? Please....

It seems that once the robots/crawlers have indexed your website they will remember everything. So even you change your site or remove a link, the search engines still remember the old link and issues a 404 error.

Don't know how to solve that problems instantly, but over time if you continue to make chances (activity like added fresh content) the 404 errors will go away. Al least that is what I have experience.
