How can I use Google Alerts to get traffic?

Postby fable666 » Mon Jan 25, 2016 12:15 pm

hi guys,

How would someone use Google alerts to get traffic? Does it work like submitting an article (like Ezinearticles) or do you just link your website?

Cheers all

You can get traffic using Google Alerts by setting up the Alerts, and then when you get notified of an alert about a relevant post, you can go right to it and read it. Next you make a comment that is helpful in some way and share a link to a relevant post on your website. If you do this consistently your traffic will grow.

Another great way to use Google Alerts is to get ideas. You can use it to monitor what's happening with categories like niche keywords, trends, competitors, brands, names. You can then use the information for things such as blog titles, social media posts, or writing articles related to what's trending.

Thanks Vickie - I will have to try your advice as I too am working on traffic with my Facebook Fan Page.
